Altenew Blog Hop + Giveaway

Congratulations to the team at Altenew on their 6th Anniversary, we are excited to be part of Day 4's Blog Hop - https://altenewblog.com/Altenew-6th-Anniversary-Day-4
 
We love using Altenew’s products including their stamps, inks, dies and embellishments and our cards today show off not only the versatility of the stamps but the brilliant colours that match them.

One of our favourite stamps from Altenew's recent releases is the Build-A-Flower Stargazer stamp and die set.  These flowers are just beautiful and open to so many colours from the wonderful Altenew ink pad range.

Here we have made two cards using the same stamps and dies to give you some ideas.
Our first card, 'Thanks', starts with a base card of Bazzill Pumpkin Patch, followed by layers of Whirlpool and White smooth card.  On the White smooth card, I stamped the top left and lower right Stargazer flowers using the Golden Sunset ink pad range.  Next we stamped the top right and lower left with the Warm & Cozy ink pad range.

We edged the White card with a little Teal Cave ink pad and adhered the layers together.  

On the smaller strip of Whirlpool card, we stamped the Altenew - Dotted Diamond stamp set - Keeway Tsao using the Teal Cave ink pad and adhered it to a piece of Bazzill Rope Swing card.  We die cut the letters 'THANKS' from the Altenew - Tall Alpha die set from Bazzill White card and adhered this to the centre of the card using mounting tape.

Our second card starts with a base of Bazzill Ballet Dotted Swiss card and has layers of Bazzill White and Parakeet card.  On the Parakeet card, we stamped the Altenew - Dotted Diamond stamp set - Keeway Tsao using an Altenew Forest Glades ink pad. 

We die cut the letters 'FOR YOU' from Altenew - Tall Alpha die set from Bazzill White and attached this to to top right of Parakeet card.

We stamped two sets of Altenew Stargazer flowers using the Altenew - Spring Bouquet ink pad range and three sets of leaves from the Altenew - Green Fields ink pad range.  We die cut these images with the matching dies and adhered the leaves to the card with glue and the flowers with mounting tape.

When the cards were assembled, we added some accents to the Stamens using Enamel Accents.
