Gnome Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends

The latest shipment of Stamping Bella's new Christmas stamps have arrived and are on our website and instore.

These Gnomes are really cut and couldn't wait to grab my Copics and play.

This stamp is called 'Gnome with Presents' and I paired it with 'Holiday Fun Sentiments' stamp set.

The bast card is Bazzill Pomegranate followed by Honey Dotted Swiss and Patch card.  On Colour Copy 200gsm Laser Paper, I stamped the Gnomes with Presents using a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.

To prevent the image from 'floating in mid-air', I added two little lines to the left and right of the image to create a back wall and floor.  I coloured around the image with Copic Markers B000, B00, E41 and E43.

I coloured the main image with Copic Markers - E00, E11, E04, E40, E41, Y11, Y15, Y17, YR23, YG11, G14, G07, C1, C3, R17, R27, R46, R39.

After colouring, I accented the image with a White Gelly Roll pen 0.8, adding highlights or patterns.

I also stamped a second image and the Gnome and Green present in the front is adhered to the card with mounting tape.

I added the words 'Get you JINGLE on!' using a Black Soot Archival Ink Pad.  Lastly I blended a little Mowed Lawn Distress Ink Pad around the edges.

If you like this card and would like to see more of the images, check out our website - https://michellescardsandstamps.com.au/products-page/stamping-bella/

Isabelle Loves Ice Cream

Hi Everyone

I've been playing with Stamping Bella's Isabelle Loves Ice Cream stamp and and made this card.

I started with a base of Bazzill Pomegranate and added layers of Thunder, Colour Copy paper and paper that was once Orange and White striped paper, but after colouring it with Copics (yep, I I changed the colour of the paper), turned it Red using R20, R22 and very thin lines of R27.

After stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black, in the background, I coloured around the image with B00 and BG10 and the grass with YG11, YG06, YG09 and G28.  I then blended around the image with Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint to cover the white.

I coloured the image with Copic Markers - E00, E11, E31, E35, E37, E79, WO, W2, W5, W7, R20, R22, R27, R46, Y21 and RY23.

In the top left of the card, I stamped 'You Can Never Have Too Much' from Catherine Pooler's - Zen Feather stamp set.  I added the words at the bottom from the Stamping Bella stamp set.

The main stamped image is adhered to the card with mounting tape and I added Scallop Borders (My Favourite Things Dienamics die set) from the Thunder card.

I now feel like Ice Cream, so off to Baskin Robins I go.

Sending Hugs

Hi Everyone

Sending everyone Hugs today on Valentine's Day

This little bear is from Stamping Bella and is called 'Harry the Stuffie Has Happy Mail.

The base card is Bazzill Lily White and is layered with Dotted Swiss Sandbox, Sweetheart and some pink paper from by paper-stock.

Down the right of the card, I used Memory Box's Vertical Hearts Channel on the Lily White card.  I added a trim of Sandbox card down the right edge to reinforce this side.  On the inside of the card I added some Pink paper to create the contrast.

On the left of the card, I added layers of Sandbox and Pink paper and cut a tag from My Favorite Thing's Dienamics die set.  I also cut a postage stamp from Lily White card to tie the theme together.

Harry was stamped on Colour Copy 200gsm paper using a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and coloured with Copic Markers E40, E41, E43, E47 and a little E49 for the nose.  The pinks are R83, R85 and R37.  I added a little Glossy Accents to the nose and heart on the envelope so that they shine a little.

'Sending Hug's is from the My Favorite Thing's All Occasion Sentiments set (CS141).  This is a straight line stamp, but I cut the stamp in half so I could use it as a two line stamp.

Just a tip if you are doing this, don't cut a straight line, but cutting an angle or other shape, it's easy to re-join the stamp and have a straight line next time.

Season's Greetings

Hi Everyone

We would love to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and wonderful new year.

2016 has been a very busy year for us and we've loved meeting everyone in our classes and at the shows.

This card was made using Stamping Bella's Christmas Bug (EB418) and Darkroom Door's Season's Greetings (DDRS169).  I've coloured the card with Copic Markers R05, R2, R39, E43, E47, 100, C3, C5, C7, YG06, YG09, G07, G28 and I've blended around the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink Pad.

Lastly, I've coloured the lights and baubles with Enamel Accents Lemon Twist and Electric Lime.

Enjoy your Christmas holidays and we'll see you again soon.

Merry Christmas

Calendar Project - February 2016

Hi Everyone

Phew, didn't January fly by!!!

My February Calendar made using a base of Bazzill Pomegranate, then layered up with Petunia and then HP Colour Laser Jet paper in a 200gsm.

I started by stamping the Darkroom Door French Script background stamp with Distress Ink Pad - Wild Honey and blended a little Wild Honey around the edges.  This softened the contrast between the white HP paper and the Petunia card.

I've then stamped the Stamping Bella 'Flower Garden' stamp using a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and coloured the flowers with Copic Markers R22, R27, R39, G24 and G28.

The Flower Garden stamp is really versatile as you can colour the flowers all different colours and as the image isn't too wide, there is plenty of room to add a greeting on a card or gift tag.

The Heart Fence is from Magnolia's Doo-Hickey range and was cut from Bazzill Pinecone card.

The calendar page is mounted on Petunia card and the word 'February' was cut from the My Favorite Things Dienamics die set.

As our classes start again this month, we're looking forward to seeing you all then.

Bianca Has A Big Cake

Hi Everyone

Here's a new card from Stamping Bella using the 'Bianca Has A Big Cake' from the Uptown Girl stamp range.

Starting with a Creampuff square card, I layered Dotted Swiss Surf's Up card and then Doodlebug's Friendly Forest paper (4334 Woodland Berries).

The Doodlebug paper dictated the colours I used on the stamped image, so there's a lot of Copic Markers.

Stamp Bianca on HP Colour LaserJet paper using a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and trim to fit on some Dotted Swiss Irish Eyes card.  Blend a little Distress Ink Pad - Salty Ocean around the edges of the card and using a little Copic Y11, I traced around the stamped image.

Now - start colouring using the Copic Markers.

Adhere some words, I used these from a Party Paws stamp set and accented with 2 flowers from Petaloo.

Copic Markers: E00, E11, E35, E37, R81, R83, R85, G21, G24, G28, V12, V15, V17, BG13, BG15, BG49, Y11, Y15, Y17, YR04, YR68.
