Wild Rose Studio - Bear Hugs

Hi Everyone

These two cards have been made with Wild Rose Studio's Bear Hugs stamp (CL485).  I wanted to show how one card can be used two different ways and love using the bright colours from these Doodlebug papers.

I'll start with my pink/purple card.  The base card is Bazzill Pansy card and Lily White.  On the Doodlebug paper, I stamped the words from Penny Black - Special Wishes 30-229.

For the main image, I stamped the bears on two pieces of Colour Copy paper .  On the background piece, I coloured around the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink Pad and coloured the butterfly and background flowers.

On the second image, I coloured around the lower left corner with Peeled Paint Distress Ink Pad and coloured the bears and front flowers with Copic Markers C0, C1, C3, C5, R20, Y15, Y17, BV00, BV02, R81, R83, R85, R39, YG63 and YG67.  I adhered the bears on top of the base image.  Mount this image on the front of the card.

The second card is Bazzill Lily White, Glow and Doodlebug paper.  Again, I've used two images and coloured the base card with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink Pad.  The bears are coloured in Copic Markers E50, E31, E35, E37, Y11, Y15, Y17, YG63 and YG67.

In the centre of the flowers, I added some little dots of Clear Stickles and allow to dry.

Wild Rose Studio - Teddy with Flowers

Hi Everyone

This little cutie from Wild Rose Studio caught my heart and I've had so much fun playing with him.

I don't want to give too much away about our February class yet, but this little stamp may or may not feature in one of the cards - again, I'm not wanting to give too much away and will not confirm one way or another - LOL!!!

This is Wild Rose Studio's Teddy with Flowers (CL490) which I've coloured with Copic Markers E50, E31, E35, R20, YG61, YG63, YG67, BV02 BV04 and BV08.  I've halo cut Teddy and the flowers and added some Ranger Enamel Accents - Lemon Twist to highlight the centre of the flowers.

The card base is Bazzill Lily White which I've added Aloe Vera and Heather to.  On the Heather card, I stamped the Darkroom Door French Script in the background using an Archival Majestic Violet ink pad.

The words are from Penny Black's Special Wishes set (30-229) and were stamped on a frame from a My Favorite Things Dienamics set.

Bunny & Butterfly

Hi Everyone

I started making this card and decided to keep it simple and let the bunny and butterfly do the talking.

The base card is Bazzill Velvet and layered with Lily White and some teal scrapbooking papers.

I stamped the Darkroom Door Simple Sayings words on the lower part of the card.

So, onto the bunny - I started with the oval from My Favorite Things and stamped the Wild Rose Studio Bunny and Butterfly (CL463) stamp, allowing the flowers and butterfly to overhang.

I coloured the Bunny with Copic Markers C0, C1, C3, C5, R20 and R22.  I added a little grass with Copic Markers YG63 and YG67.  The flowers and butterfly was coloured with Copic Markers V12, V15, V17, R81, R83, R85 and R39.

I added a little clear Wink of Stella to the butterfly, flowers and to the ears and tail of the bunny for a little sparkle.

This stamp is so cute.

Bella and Teddy

Hi Everyone

This stamp set is from Wild Rose Studio and has been a favourite of mine for a while and is called 'Bella with Teddy' - super cute.

My card sample doesn't have any words, so it could be used for any occasion.

Using Bazzill card colours in Jacaranda, Creampuff and Pinecone, I layered up the cards as shown.

My main feature piece was a piece of Creampuff card which I made a line across so I could make Bella look this she wasn't floating in thin air.  The background is stamped with a Darkroom Door Texture Stamp using Brushed Corduroy and then blended around the edges rather heavily.  With the lower part of the card (aka the floor), I shaded lightly around the edges.

Bella is stamped on a piece of HP Colour LaserJet paper and adhered in place.  I coloured Bella with Copic Markers C0, C1, C3, C5 and R20 and then Teddy with E50, E31 and E35.

The flowers are from Petaloo and match the card perfectly.

Wild Rose Studio - Bella Card

Hi Everyone

I'd love to share this card idea with you.  Take 2 A5 cards and a strip of card that is the same height and around 2cm wide.  Fold the strip of card in half and use it to glue the 2 A5 cards together.

Now, time to decorate.  There are so many options but I've been playing with my Wild Rose Studio stamps and created these 4 panels.

The base card is Bazzill Pansy and Lily White and each panel has a brightly coloured paper in pink, green, yellow and blue.

Time to stamp, using the Wild Rose Stamps - Bella with Friend, Bella with Dahlia, Bella with Daisy and Bella with Teddy, I stamped it with a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and coloured with Copic Markers - C0, C1, C3, C5, E50, E31, E35, E37, Y11, Y15, Y17, YR68, R81, R83, R85, R20, G05, G07, V15 and V17.

After trimming the shapes, I blended a little Salty Ocean Distress Ink Pad around the edges for the sky.

Time to embellish with Prima Flowers and trims cut from Taylored Expressions.

Hope you love the card.

Calendar Project 2015 - May

Hi Everyone

Me again!  My calendar pages continue with this May page.

Starting with a layer of Bazzill Sweetheart followed by Lily White and then HP paper.

On the HP paper, I applied Dusty Concord and Picked Raspberry Distress Paint and blended the colours together.

I then stamped Stampendous - Floral Tapestry with an Deep Purple Archival ink pad.

Using Wild Rose Studio Stamps - Bella with Flowers, Bella with Daisy and Bella with Posy, I stamped with a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and coloured with Copic Markers.

I've added a little sparkle in the centre of the flowers with some glitter and the word 'May' from the Dienamics 'Months of the Year' die set.

Bella With Friend

Hi Everyone

Time to play with the Wild Rose Studio Bella stamps and I came up with this card.

Starting with a base of Bazzill Pansy, Lily White and Sunbeam card.

I then added a layer of Doodlebug paper which I stamped My Favorite Things Grand Greetings using an Archival Jet Black ink pad.  Before adhering it to the Pansy card, I added a Flower border from Dienamics which I cut from Sunbeam card and Lily White, adding a little Glossy Accents and Clear Rock Candy Glitter to.

Now - onto Bella....

I stamped 2 images on HP Colour LaserJet Paper and cut an oval from one an coloured the background with Copic Marker B00 and around the edge with Distress Ink Pad - Tumbled Glass.

I then coloured Bella and her friend with Copic Markers C0, C1, C3, C5, R20, RV52, RV55, V06, V09, Y38, YG63 and YG67.  On the second image, I coloured only Bella's head and the large butterfly and adhered them to the main image.

Adding some mounting tape behind the scallop oval, I mounted the image up on the main card.

Bella with Dahlia

Hi Everyone

The Wild Rose Studio stamp range has been really popular since we bought them in and I'd love to share this card with you.

Starting with Bazzill cards Thunder, Stormy and Petalsoft, I created this card.  On the Petalsoft card, I stamped the Stampendous Floral Tapestry (CRR217) using an Archival Watering Can ink pad.  The beauty of using the Watering Can ink pad, as it is a grey colour, it doesn't dominate as a ink pad like a black would, but also not a watermark ink pad.

The words are from Heartfelt Creations - Classic Message (HCPC3354) and was stamped in Archival Jet Black.

Now for Bella - on HP Colour LaserJet Paper, stamp Bella using a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.  Colour with Copic Markers and mount up on the card as shown.

Copic Markers C0, C3, C5, C7, YG09, Y38, YR07, R000, R20 and R22.

Happy Stamping
