Thank you Southside Stampers Inc

 Hi Everyone

Over the last weekend, we were invited to attend the Southside Stampers Inc stamp club's camp at QCCC Brookfield.

What a fantastic group of ladies creating lots of great projects, talking, laughing and learning from each other.

Robyn was at the camp from Thursday afternoon to Sunday night where we had a not-so-mini Shop and Michelle was there to teach our Interactive Lawn Fawn Class on Saturday morning.

Our class featured 3 Lawn Fawn die sets and matching stamps and die sets.

Our favourite card was the Platform Pop-up card featuring the new Just Add Glitter stamp and die set.  It reminded us of the ladies on the Stamp Camp getting together to craft with paper, scissors, glue and glitter everywhere.

Thanks to Robyn, the stamping on the day wasn't too much (just Sunflowers and Leaves), as Robyn pre-stamped and cut all of the images for the Just Add Glitter Platform Pop-up card (her right arm needs a rest now).

Thank you to Southside Stampers for inviting us and to the Committee for organising such a wonderful event.

Happy Stamping

Happy Easter

 Hi Crafty Friends

Happy Easter, we hope the Easter Bunny visited you all and left a surprise.

These cards were made using Lawn Fawn's Platform Pop-up, Platform Add-On, Eggstra Special Easter stamp & die set.  I've made the platform using various Doodlebug papers... so much fun.

Hoping you have a great day.

PS. No Easter Eggs were damaged during this photo-shoot, but can't comment about any damage after the photos.

Birthday Wishes

 Hey Crafty Friends

Sharing today a card made using Lawn Fawn's Mini String of Lights die set.  Yes - lots of die cutting, but love the finished card.

I started with a base of Bazzill Beeswax and Lily White.  On some Laser Paper, I blended Catherine Pooler's - All That Jazz ink pad.  I then use My Favorite Things - Confetti Stencil and blended the same ink pad through it to create the background and also stencilled a layer of confetti using clear Collage Medium for an extra layer.

I die cut the strings of lights from Bazzill Cinder card and then the lights from White card.  The lights are in two layers, firstly a solid light which I left white and then the top layer which has the highlight cut out and coloured them with Copic Markers.

There are lots of lights, just keep cutting is my take on this.  I added double sided tape on the back of the card to make it easier to adhere.

The Lights were coloured with Copic Markers - Y15, Y17, YR16, YR18, RV04, RV06, R27, R17, YG13, YG17, V15, V17.

I adhere them to the card and trimmed them off once on the Lily White layer.

I stamped 'Birthday Wishes' from Catherine Pooler's - All Around Wishes (I'm getting lots of use of this set lately, well worth a look) on Black card and embossed with WOW Opaque Bright White card.  I trimmed the words, layered on white and added the words to the card using mounting tape.

I think this card is a lot of fun and if you're prepared to start now, could make some great Christmas cards at the end of the year 😀.

Have a great day.

You can never have too many Cupcakes

Hi Crafty Friends

Following on from our red cupcakes on Wednesday, here's another card to brighten your weekend.

This card starts with a base of Bazzill Petunia (which I edged with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink Pad), then Sunbeam and Lily White.

I die cut the Lawn Fawn - Quilted Backdrop from the Lily White for a nice lace background.

I die cut the Cupcakes from various layers of Bazzill including Walnut, Petunia, Romance, Heather, Wisteria, Sunbeam and Chiffon.

I then coloured these with Copic Markers E31, E25, RV52, RV55, Y21, YR23, BV02, BV13 and BV17 and adhered the layers together.

I die cut the candles from the matching cardboards, coloured them with Copics (adding YR68 to the centre of the flame) and added them to the Yellow cupcake.   I also die cut 5 small hearts from Lily White card and added them to the Cupcakes and then adhered them all to the card, sprinkled with Clear Stickles.

Lastly, I die cut the word 'Celebrate' from Lawn' Fawn's - Oliver's Stitched ABC's die set and adhered it to the base of the card.

Cupcake Best Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends

We hope you are all well and looking after each other - at a social distance of course.

Here's a card to brighten your day using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Cupcake die set (LF1978)

This card starts with a base of Bazzill Berrylicious, followed by Pinecone, Whirlpool and Lily White.

On the Lily White card, I die cut Lawn Fawn's Quilted Backdrop to create the lace background.

From a piece of Whilpool card, I die cut a Scallop Frame using Nestabilities dies and also die cut an Oval Nestabilities that I used as a Doily under the cupcakes.

I also die cut 'Best Wishes' from Tim Holtz/Sizzix - Celebration Words (660223) and added this to the base of the card.

Ok, now onto the Cupcakes.  I die cut these from Bazzill Berrylicious, Walnut and Creampuff card.  I then added shading to the Cupcakes using Copic Markers - E31, E35, E41, E43, R22, R27 and adhered the layers together and then added them to the centre of the card using mounting tape.

If you like these dies, you can find them instore or on our website - https://michellescardsandstamps.com.au/products-page/lawn-fawn/

Hoping you have a great day.

Lawn Fawn - Fairy Friends

Hi Everyone

The stamping fairies have been to play and I created this card using Lawn Fawn's - Fairy Friends stamp set.

Starting with a base of Bazzill Pixie Dust (how perfect), followed by Whirlpool and Lily White, which I cut a circle out of.

Behind the circle, I added a piece of Colour Copy 200gsm paper, which I blended Wilted Violet and Broken China Distress Oxides over it and sprinkled water on.  I then stamped the Lanterns using a Versamark ink pad and embossed with WOW Bright White Embossing powder.

On another piece of Colour Copy 200gsm paper, I stamped the Fairies, Flowers and Hut using a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.

I die cut the shapes and coloured with Copic Markers - E00, E11, R20, E31, E35, E37, Y11, Y15, Y17, Y21, G05, YG06, YG09, BG01, BG05, BG49, V01, V04 and V06.

On the Fairy Dresses, Flowers and Hut, I added accents using a white Gelly White pen.

I added the Fairies and their Village to the card using glue and mounting tape to form the scene and then added Stickles glitter to practically everything standing still..... ahhhhh!

I also added grass around the Flowers and Hut using the Copic Markers.

Lastly, add the words across the bottom of the card, stamped on Whirlpool card using a Versamark ink pad, embossed with White Embossing Powder and layered up on Pixie Dust card.

If you like this stamp set, you'll find it on our website - https://michellescardsandstamps.com.au/products-page/lawn-fawn-stamps-by-designer/lawn-fawn-fairy-friends-stamp-set/ or the stamp and die bundle - https://michellescardsandstamps.com.au/products-page/lawn-fawn/lawn-fawn-fairy-friends-stamp-die-bundle/

Hi Everyone

With Easter this month, we're ready with our Easter Gifts.

Using the new Lawn Fawn Tote Bag die and Eggstra Special Easter stamp set, we have created these little Easter egg bags.
I've used some scrapbooking papers from my craft stash and each 12x12" page creates 2 bags.  Adding some words stamped on coloured card and the bunny was stamped on Bazzill Fawn card.  I've coloured the Bunny with Wink of Stella pens and a little Stickles on the tail.

Fill with Easter Eggs or anything else that takes your fancy.

Pinch and a Punch for the First of the Month

Hi Everyone

Today is the 1st March and it's time to show-off my March calendar.  I have to admit that despite February having an extra day this year, the 1st of March snuck up on me and I was burning the midnight candle last night, fortunately I already knew what I was going to make.

Starting with layers of Bazzill Heather, Sunbean and Bluebells, I added tulips from the My Favorite Things set (LJD47) Spring Tulips and matching die set which I coloured with Copic Markers YG63, YG67, RV06, RV04, RV02, B02, B05, V12, V15, V17, Y15 and Y17.

The cute little bunny is from Law Fawn's Eggstra Special Easter and was coloured with Copic Markers C0, C2, RV04 and RV02.

The word 'March' is from the My Favorite Things 'Months of the Year' Dienamics die which I cut from Sunbean card.

Lastly, there's nothing like a little (or a lot) of Wink of Stella - Clear to touch up the Tulips, Bunny and 'March'.

Happy March and Happy Stamping
