Calendar Project 2015 - October

Hi Everyone

Here we are with the Cheryl's October calendar page

Cheryl started with Bazzill Kisses card followed by layers of Dotted Swiss Romantic Mauve and Honey.

The stamp is Constellations from Penny Black which Cheryl has accented with Adirondack Acrylics - Butterscotch and Cranberry.

The word 'October' is from the Dienamics 'Months of the Year' die set and the Fishtail die is also from Dienamics.

Happy October

Calendar Project 2015 - September

Hi Everyone

Ahhh, what a lovely month.... spring has sprung, it's starting to warm up, oh and my birthday is in September, so it must be a great month (LOL).

Here is Jennifer's last Calendar page and has continued her theme of Graphic 45's Botanical Tea papers.

Jennifer started with a Bazzill Bling base and added Graphic 45's Sweet Chamomile (#4500884) paper and some matching ribbons.

Jennifer then made the square in the top left corner from Graphic 45's Flora (#4500876) by cutting the paper into a square, folding each corner into the centre and then folding the corners back out to the edges.  It's a great technique and stamping a little message in the middle finishes it off nicely.

Add some stamped or die cut butterflies, pearls and a little sparkle and you're all set for Spring.

Calendar Project 2015 - August

Hi Everyone

Jennifer has continued her Graphic 45 - Botanical Tea themed calendar pages with this August page.

Jennifer started with a base of Bazzill Dotted Swiss Neptune and then added a layer of white card.  On this layer, Jennifer stamped a Hero Arts background stamp with Versamark and added some Pewter Perfect Pearls on top.

Jennifer then added a layer of Graphic 45's Robin's Egg (#450081) and folded the top left corner back down and secured it with a charm.

Add some die cuts from Dienamics and the letters 'Aug' cut from silver card and you have a lovely finished page.

Calendar Project 2015 - July

Hi Everyone

Our Calendar Projects continue and for the next 3 months, we have Jennifer's pages.  I think Jennifer purchased a Graphic 45's Botanical Tea paper pad when preparing her pages, as they are all from the Botanical Tea range.

Jennifer started with a base of Bazzill Blossom followed by Petalsoft which she blended a little Tattered Rose Distress Ink around.

Like I said, the paper is from Graphic 45 and this is the 'Sweet Chamomile' paper (#4500884)  which is adhered to the card and the top left corner rolled back and secured with a Kaisercraft Pearl Brad.

Accent the calendar page with pearls, tea cup stamped images and die cuts and some rolled roses and you have this lovely page.

Calendar Project 2015 - June

Hi Everyone

This is the last of my calendar projects this year - June.

As you know, I'm a bit of a sucker for Sunflowers and have loved the Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower stamp set (HCPC3626) for some time.

Previously, I've used Copic Markers to colour my image, but this time I used Distress Markers.

I've stamped the Classic Sunflower image on Watercolour card (300gsm) using an Archival Coffee Ink pad and coloured it with Distress Markers Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge, Forest Moss, Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs.  Once dry, I blended around the edges with Distress Ink pads Wild Honey and Brushed Corduroy and edged with the Coffee Ink pad.

I then adhered it to my base card of Bazzill Ivy and Marigold, added my calender piece and the letters for June which were cut using the Tim Holtz ABC123 die set (660210).

Over to Jennifer now for the next 3 months.

Calendar Project 2015 - May

Hi Everyone

Me again!  My calendar pages continue with this May page.

Starting with a layer of Bazzill Sweetheart followed by Lily White and then HP paper.

On the HP paper, I applied Dusty Concord and Picked Raspberry Distress Paint and blended the colours together.

I then stamped Stampendous - Floral Tapestry with an Deep Purple Archival ink pad.

Using Wild Rose Studio Stamps - Bella with Flowers, Bella with Daisy and Bella with Posy, I stamped with a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and coloured with Copic Markers.

I've added a little sparkle in the centre of the flowers with some glitter and the word 'May' from the Dienamics 'Months of the Year' die set.

Calendar Project 2015 - April

Hi Everyone

Now it's my time for my calendar pages and here is my first - April.

Starting with a base of Dotted Swiss Sunset Rose (now discontinued), I layered up with Fawn and Creampuff.

On HP paper, I used Distress Paints - Peeled Paint and Broken China in the background and blended it with my fingers.

Using the Darkroom Door French Script background stamp, I stamped Archival Cobalt ink pad.

I then added layers of the Magnolia  DooHickey Heart Fence and My Favorite Things Grass dies.

Using Stampers Anonymous Easter Blueprint (CMS144) and Mini Blueprints 2 (CMS146), I stamped the Easter Bunnies on Grungepaper and then cut out the bunnies.

I stamped an extra image for the bow tie and also cut it out.

After adhering the bunnies to the page, I covered the bunnies in Art Glitter Glue and then tossed Vintage Photo Distress Glitter and allowed them to dry.  I also did this to the bow tie and covered it with Picked Raspberry Distress Glitter and covered it with Glossy Accents to make it extra shiny.

The month 'April' is from My Favorite Things Dienamics set - Months of the Year.

Calendar 2015 - February

Hi Everyone

Participating in a calendar project like I do with my friends is lots of fun as each month we get to see how each of us interpret a month or use our favourite stamps in a project larger than a stamp.... this month is Linda's Valentine's page.

Using Graphic 45's 'Time to Flourish' paper pad, Linda created this February calendar page.

Simply lovely.

Happy New Year!!

Hi Everyone

Happy New Year, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's break and got some craft time in the mix.

Continuing our annual tradition, my friends and I are preparing a 2015 calendar.  This calendar project started a while ago and each year we make 3 months of a calendar (4 times) and swap them between each other.  The calendars are 16x16cm, giving us enough room to get a little creative.

Here we start with Cheryl's January page - Cheryl loves purple, so it's little surprise to see it featured in her pages.

The base card is Bazzill Pansy, followed by Lily White and Candle Glow Prismatics card.

The stamp is by Impression Obsession - Sweet Treats and was coloured with Copic Markers - Y08, Y17, Y21, Y23, E31, E35, E47, G24, G28, V12, V15 and V17.
