Yay – Winter is finally behind us and Spring has sprung! 🌼💛
We are so ready to say goodbye to the cold and hello to sunshine, colour, and plenty of crafty inspiration.

After two big weeks of Craft Shows, Robyn and Vince have been working tirelessly to set up the shop again – and it’s looking amazing. Huge thanks to them both for all their hard work! 👏

This week, we’re excited to kick off our September Classes. We’ve put together a beautiful collection of cards that celebrate the season – think bright colours, fresh blooms, and plenty of ideas to inspire your next project. There’s truly something for everyone!

Happy 11th Birthday Altenew

 Hey Crafty Friends

Thank you for stopping by our blog on Altenew's 11th Birthday Blog Hop.  We're excited to be asked to participate again.

Altenew have been amazing innovators in the crafting industry over the past 11 years, starting with stamps and progressing to dies, stencils, embossing folders, inks, sprays, tools, paints and watercolours.  Most recently they added Shimmer Relief Pastes to their collection, which are so popular, it's hard to keep them in stock.

Today we feature on of Altenew's newest releases - Build-A-Garden - Through The Tulips.

In this card, I stamped the Tulips using an Obsidian Black ink pad and using the stencils, coloured them with Mauve, Berrylicious and Acai Berry inks from the Dried Petals ink range and Jade, Eucalyptus and Forest Fern from the Frosted Foliage ink range.  On a second set of Tulips, I didn't use the Acai Berry, allowing it to be a softer set of Tulips.

Using Versatile Greetings 2 Die Set, I cut "Happy Birthday" on Laser card and blended Berrylicious and Acai Berry over it.  I layered it on the shadow die, cut from Bazzill Lily White.

The card was assembled on Bazzill Juneberry, Sweetheart, Lily White and Kraft card.  I also added a layer of Gold Mirrored card for a little shimmer.

I adhered one set of Tulips to the card and then added the second set and words with mounting tape.

MC&S Classes - April 2025

 Hey Crafty Friends

After a rather dramatic March with Cyclone Alfred, whatever it was that high the following night and more rain than we can remember, here's to a less weather-driven April - oops, here we are in another week of rain.

All this rain has meant that we have been busy preparing classes, demos, kits and more.  We have a very busy couple of months coming up, so being stuck indoors while the weather has been wild has been put to good use.

We are set to start the April classes on Friday (4th April) and here is a sneak peak - 

This month we feature projects using Altenew, Honey Bee, Pink Fresh Studio and Spellbinders.  There's lots of colour, layers and some construction in this month's class, so we'll have those creative juices flowing in no time.

Due to Easter this month, we are shuffling some of the dates, so please double check when you're class is:
