Beautiful Day

Hi Everyone

It's safe to say, it's time for me to step away from the Altenew Watercolour Palette as I have been colouring so much with it lately, but thought I'd add one more card.

This card is made using the Altenew - Beautiful Day stamp set, which so many of us have already and Altenew's Just For You stamp set.

The card starts with a base of Bazzill Dotted Swiss Sandbox, followed by Romance and Creampuff.

In the centre of the Creampuff card, I stamped 'Just For You' using a Coffee Archival Ink Pad and a Stamp Platform, so that they lined up properly and I got a bold image.

Next step was to stamp the flowers and leaves on the Canson Watercolour Card.  I stamped them with an Archival Jet Black ink pad and die cut them using the Beautiful Day die set.  Next it's time to colour, grabbing my waterbrush, I used the colours - Coral Berry, Warm Sunshine, Mocha and Forest Glades.

I then assembled the leaves and small flowers and adhered them to the card with glue and then added the main flower with mounting tape in the centre.

Lastly I added Black Enamel Accents to highlight the centre of the large flowers and allowed them to dry.
