Happy March

Hi Everyone

Here's my last calendar page - March 2014.

I love the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Blueprints range and here used the Easter Blueprint (CMS144) and the Mini Blueprint 2 (CMS146).

Starting with Bazzill Parakeet and Kisses, I then added 300gsm Watercolour paper and stamped the mini Butterfly blueprint using an Archival Jet Black ink pad.  I then coloured around the edges of the squares with Distress Marker - Scattered Straw and then blended in around the butterfly.  I coloured the butterflies with Distress Markers - Forest Moss, Wild Honey and Walnut Stain.

The larger butterfly was also stamped on the Watercolour paper using an Archival Jet Black ink pad and was mounted up on Pinecone card.  This butterfly was coloured with Distress Markers - Festive Berries and Peeled Paint and I blended around the edges with Distress Ink Pad - Walnut Stain. 

Lastly I coloured the centre of this butterfly with Viva Décor Pen - Brown (401).
