Love Tulips

Hi Everyone

The Easter weekend is over and we're back to work - gees, where did those 4 days go??

I 'puppy-sat' by Sister's dog Roxy so had plenty of distractions with those gorgeous brown eyes - lucky I had Smackoo's on hand for some stamping time.

One of the stamp companies that Robyn and I found at CHA was Woodware Clear Stamps and 'Love Tulips' was one that took our eye.

Using Bazzill Dotted Swiss - I started with a base of Berrylicious and then added Bazzill Criss Cross Princess and then Dotted Swiss Sandbox.

On Bazzill Lily White I covered the background with Distress Stains -  Bundled Sage and then stamped Darkroom Door Birthday Wordblock stamp using Versamark and dusted Perfect Pearls - Perfect Gold over it.  This creates the words in the background of this card.

Now stamp the first layer of the Love Tulips on top of the Wordblock image using a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.  Colour then border and leaves with Copic Markers YR23, YG63 and YG67.

On some HP Colour LaserJet paper, stamp 2 more sets of Tulips.  Colour the Tulips with Copic Markers R81, R83, R85 and RV69.  Cut out and adhere to the main image.

Stamp the words from the Love Tulips set on the Berrylicious card using Versamark and gold embossing powder, trim and adhere to the Princess card and then onto the front of the card.

Tie some ribbon around the main image and adhere to the front of the card.

I added some little dots of Art Anthology Dimension Crystals in Sunbeam and this card is finished.

Happy Stamping
Michelle
