Tried, Tested Tim's Tip

Hi Everyone

On Friday, I had a play date with my friends Cheryl and Linda and the topic of stamping on polymer came up and how certain inks create a blotchy stamped image (eg Memento) but when colouring with Copics, it's the best ink.  See the left stamped robot.

We have been following Tim Holtz's Creative Chemistry 101 (sorry to say that it has just finished) and Linda tested the following:

Firstly, Linda inked the stamp with Archival Jet Black and allowed it to dry.  Next, ink the stamp with the ink you want to use - Memento, Distress, etc.  You will get a much clearer image.  See the robot on the right.

This technique is now TRIED, TESTED and TICKED!!  Thanks Tim.

Happy Stamping
Michelle

PS.  Linda now refers to herself as Dr Linda Wait MBBS, FRACGP and SATTT Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners and Self Appointed Timmy Technique Tester.
